The new'every man' Model 3 Tesla revealed this week for $35,000 may just be technicality, with even the most basic options pushing the price past $40,000. Any options, including a different color, will bump you well over the initially asking price. And that's just the beginning, as Bloomberg's Dana Hull later pointed out in a tweet: 'So if you want a Model 3 in a color besides black with longer range battery, options and autopilot you are looking at $58K.' Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Friday the Model 3 had over half a million advance reservations as he handed over the first 30 to employee buyers.
