Engineer Predicts Internet, Cell Phones And Medical Imaging More Than A Century Ago
More than 100 years ago, a relatively unknown engineer accurately predicted the invention of the internet, satellite TV, digital photography, cell phones, and medical imaging ... yet, today, practically no one knows his name. There's a popular saying that goes, "Predicting the future is easy … getting it right is the hard part." Today there seems to be an almost endless supply of Nostradamus-wannabes trying to predict how the future of technology will play out. It's always interesting to look back and see how accurate (or not) these predictions ended up being. Many articles have been written about predictions that missed by a mile.
