The Future of Technology and what it means for Marketers.

If you were to walk up to any marketing professional right this very minute and ask them how they would market a product ten years from now, you will probably be met with silence. This simple truth of the unknown, not knowing how future consumers will interact with companies and products, or what processes they'll go through to purchase your product makes it near impossible to anticipate. This is something that is exciting for some and terrifying for others. However, I am one that finds the unknown future of technology and its effects on marketing to be incredibly fascinating and I have spent many hours fantasizing about what it could bring. Now that I have spent more years in college than I probably should have, I have come to find that trying to make predictions about any industry or topic in the future is near impossible; at least when it comes to making accurate predictions.
