When I think of AI, I like to imagine a world where I don't need to drive, my personal robot does my homework, and I don't have to spend another second doing some meaningless task. Then, an alarm goes off and I wake up to a disappointing reality with no cool robots and no self driving cars. AI is not exactly where Sci-fi shows and movies show it to be. According to them, we live in a world where AGI -- Artificial General Intelligence is a reality. AGI is an AI is complex enough to simulate a human brain with emotions, personality and everything that makes us who we are.
