Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has accused Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg of pushing Republican philosophy when it comes to the topic of free education. AOC, who has been a big fan of presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders in the past, is a huge supporter of tuition-free university along with the cancellation of student debt. Sanders is also a big proponent of both of those policies. Here's more from Washington Examiner: In a campaign video tweeted out on Thursday, Buttigieg agreed that college should be "affordable for everybody," but questioned the feasibility of implementing a tuition-free system for all. "There are some voices saying, 'well that doesn't count unless you go even further, unless it's free even for the kids of millionaires,' but I only want to make promises that we can keep," the South Bend, Indiana, mayor stated.
