PlayStation 5: Sony confirms it's working on a new console, but will not name it

Sony has confirmed it is working on the PlayStation 5 – but not that it is called that. The new console comes amid questions about whether consoles really represent the future of gaming. Microsoft, for instance, suggested at the same time that its new release could live in the cloud, getting rid of the wedge of computer that has occupied people's living rooms. Speaking an interview with the Financial Times, Sony president Kenichiro Yoshida would only say "At this point, what I can say is it's necessary to have a next-generation hardware". The I.F.O. is fuelled by eight electric engines, which is able to push the flying object to an estimated top speed of about 120mph.
