Apple is working on a bizarre CURVED iPhone design to mark 20 years since its first ever handset, report claims
Although their specs and features are updated every year, Apple's iPhones maintain the same general size and shape. But according to a new report, the tech giant is preparing a radical new form factor for one of its upcoming handsets. Apple tipster Mark Gurman claims the trillion-dollar tech company is working on a'mostly glass, curved iPhone'. The device will come'without any cutouts in the display', he claims, such as a notch at the top or a small circle for a front-facing camera. It will hit the shelves in a couple of years to mark 20 years since the very first iPhone went on sale โ June 29, 2007.
You can try Microsoft's free AI skills training for two more weeks, and I recommend you do

Microsoft's AI Skills Fest offers courses that are open for all skill levels.
Social media giant hit with scathing ad campaign amid anger over AI chatbots sexually exploiting kids
A nonprofit parents coalition is calling on multiple congressional committees to launch an investigation into Meta for prioritizing engagement metrics that put children's safety at risk. The call is part of a three-pronged attack campaign by the American Parents Coalition (APC), launched Thursday. It includes a letter to lawmakers with calls for investigations, a new parental notification system to help parents stay informed on issues impacting their kids at Meta and beyond, and mobile billboards at Meta D.C. and California headquarters, calling out the company for failure to adequately prioritize protecting children. APC's campaign follows an April Wall Street Journal report that included an investigation looking into how the company's metrics focus has led to potential harms for children. "This is not the first time Meta has been caught making tech available to kids that exposes them to inappropriate content," APC Executive Director Alleigh Marre said. "Parents across America should be extremely wary of their children's online activity, especially when it involves emerging technology like AI digital companions.
Google adds new AI accessibility features to Android, Chrome, and Chromebook
Google today announced a suite of new accessibility features in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, including AI-powered and personality-driven settings for users' most popular assistive tools. Earlier this week, the company also announced new AI-powered scam prevention tools in Chrome browsers, as it tries to overhaul the public's perception of tech and its encroachment into our lives, Black Mirror-style. For Android users, Google is enhancing the Talkback experience -- the company's in-house screen reader tool for people who are blind or have low vision -- with more Gemini features, including the ability to ask questions about Talkback's descriptions. Users can also get live information about their entire screens by asking specific questions to Gemini while using Talkback. Google first announced Gemini for Talkback in 2024, intended to provide support for onscreen images without alt text.
Colts delete controversial schedule-release video, say Microsoft rights were violated
Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, James Jones and Chase Daniel react to the NFL's announcement of the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys to kick off the 2025 NFL season. The Indianapolis Colts came under fire on Wednesday night for a since-deleted social media video that was intended to creatively reveal the team's 2025 game schedule. The clip, which was animated in the style of the Microsoft-owned video game Minecraft, opened with a segment previewing the team's Week 1 game against the Miami Dolphins. In it, Dolphins star Tyreek Hill was depicted as a dolphin and was then approached by a Coast Guard boat blaring a police siren, with a police officer glaring at Hill. Hill was arrested in September in a widely publicized controversy that featured bodycam footage of the wide receiver being pinned to the ground by police while put in handcuffs.

Teacher quits profession after viral rant on how AI is 'ruining' education
Hannah, a former teacher, joins'Fox & Friends' to explain why she left the classroom, saying AI tools are making it difficult to teach. A former high school English teacher went viral this week after posting a candid video on social media announcing she was quitting the teaching profession because of how technology was "ruining" education. In her video, which reached over 1 million views on TikTok, Hannah explained how AI tools have made teaching more difficult because students rely on technology to do the work for them and are unmotivated to put in effort themselves. She said that kids do not know how to read because of read-aloud tools, and have short attention spans because of the "high stimulation" of social media. "They want to use [technology] for entertainment. They don't want to use it for education," she said in a TikTok video which reached over 1 million views.
