AI Careers For Dummies – Chatbots Magazine
In his annual essay to this year's graduating class, Microsoft founder and technology visionary Bill Gates -- I hate Windows as much as you, but the guy knows an opportunity when he sees one-- listed artificial intelligence as the first career he would recommend to new college grads. "We have only begun to tap into all the ways it will make people's lives more productive and creative," Gates wrote. At the same time, you've surely noticed that "AI" has become this year's buzzword of choice for marketers and second-rate news writers. It won't last, but Gates is right: behind the hype, artificial intelligence, hard as it is to define, has been gradually becoming more prevalent in our lives. "Machine intelligence is everywhere," MIT Technology Review chief Jason Pontin told Chatbots Magazine in April, "and we couldn't live without it now."
