The True Test Of AI Adoption? When We Don't Realize We're Using It

Industry pundits are forecasting that AI will become a key strategic initiative for businesses in 2019, but in actuality, AI is already all around us. We're just taking it for granted. AI has the potential to change the world in major ways -- perhaps helping find the cure for cancer, or helping us reverse (or at least reduce) the damage caused by global warming and other environmental issues, or completely taking humans out of the driver's seat in cars. But these lofty goals are, unfortunately, years away. What is here today, however, is all kinds of instances of pragmatic AI, silently working behind the scenes unobtrusively and making our lives easier.
