r/artificial - Google's AI can now translate your speech while keeping your voice

Interesting and sounds (pun intended) like the next step forward in automatic translation. It would definitely be more useful/realistic (to the other person) to have the foreign language translation of what you are saying appear to be in your own voice rather than a synthesized one.
