Anchorage Police Department spokesman Christopher Barraza said the female hiker was attacked on Tuesday by a brown bear while on the Basher Trail in Anchorage, Alaska, according to the Anchorage Daily News. Barraza said the woman suffered "non-life threatening" injuries.
