6 predictions from Gartner could reshape C-suite priorities

Humans used technology to introduce products into the market. Technology later offered humans access to new ways of selling those products, and new ways to increase their efficiency. Now, technology's relentless cycle of innovation has touched humanity, redefining what it means to be human, a meaningful change that will impact business priorities in the not-so distant future. Daryl Plummer, distinguished vice president and Gartner Fellow, outlined the analyst firm's top predictions for 2020 and beyond, speaking at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo on Tuesday. In Gartner's view, the workplace of the future will see technology augment human capacity, overhaul employee experience and open markets for expansion.
