In the next five years you should be able to know that, according to findings by a team of researchers at IBM, the Armonk, New York-based tech giant. They say the situation will change as AI software in your smartphone will scan your food for bacteria and tell you if it is safe enough to eat. This is one of its five famous path-breaking innovations the company believes would change the world. The tech behemoth, which reported about $80 billion in revenues last calendar year, said that it has developed an optical device, called IBM Verifier, that can be attached to smartphones to detect pathogens.
