Monitoring Mental Health After Cancer Treatment Using Federated Artificial Intelligence

#artificialintelligence

Remotely, FAITH will analyze depression indicators and forecast downward tendencies. Nutrition, sleep, activity, and speech are all biomarkers that can be evaluated in diverse ways, partly by wearable devices. Patients with a history of breast or lung cancer will be recruited for the trial between 1 and 5 years after their initial cancer has been treated. Depression and quality of life among cancer survivors will be evaluated over the course of a 12-month prospective observational cohort study that will include monthly assessments. The severity of depressive symptoms at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months as determined by the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (Ham-D), is the primary objective.
