Feeling useless? Oh, the wonders of technology!

Life has been a proper hoot until today - a day on which I have come to the realization that anything I could do, someone or something else could do a million times better, and that someone or something doesn't even have to be a human. It'd have been okay if I was the only victim...baba ghanoush...it appears everyone has been compromised! Very soon, geniuses will cease to exist - there will only be machine learning and artificial intelligence. It's a scary thought to behold because now I will never get to call myself a genius - even if I continually write semi-comprehensible content for the next 20 years to worldwide appreciation...some machine learning software is going to be able to replicate or even significantly better my oeuvre in a matter of milliseconds and that's just going to dwarf my achievements. I'd give up right now if I wasn't so passionate about writing.
