Will Artificial Intelligence Bring About the Next Stage of the Evolution of Slots?
Charles Fey was the original inventor of the slot machine. However, if he had been cryogenically frozen in the early 1900s and then thawed out now and presented with a modern-day internet slot game, he probably wouldn't have a clue how to use it. That's how far the games have come since the San Francisco mechanic came up with the concept for the Liberty Bell, the first ever hand operated slot machine. Slots have evolved with every major technological innovation throughout their rich history, and they look set to take the next step with artificial intelligence. This revolutionary platform that's currently sweeping the world could enhance the games greatly.
Artificial intelligence brings our century's Era of Enlightenment
In 2017, Google DeepMind developed an artificial intelligence (AI) program called AlphaZero. It was programmed to play chess against an earlier developed program called Stockfish. The difference between the two, Stockfish, the then dominant program in chess, was programmed with all the moves that could be made in chess matches and it made choices from this database. AlphaZero was different, it used logic of its own informed by the ability to recognize patterns of moves across a vast series of possibilities, many not conceived by human minds. It learned from these patterns of possibilities, actually playing against itself to build this knowledge base.

Artificial intelligence brings better hurricane predictions
Hurricane Ida was among the most intense and damaging hurricanes in Louisiana's history. The violent storm rose to a Category 1 hurricane on Friday, August 27. It then climbed another two categories in two days, jumping from Category 3 to 4 in only an hour. Thankfully, forecasting models help us predict when, where, and how strongly hurricanes may strike. Accurately predicting the brief windows in which these violent storms surge and strengthen is a lingering blind spot within the hurricane forecasting community.
Can Artificial Intelligence Bring an End to Cyberbullying?
Before we were so connected by technology, bullying was most frequently identified in school settings. For example, remember Scut Farkus in "A Christmas Story" or Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall's character) in "The Breakfast Club?" But Bullying is not just for kids. Harassment and hate speech exists in the workplace and socially among adults. So, what's changed, and what can be done about it? Online activity, such as social media, texting, and gaming, provides constant contact and further reach with our peers, colleagues, friends, and even strangers.
Artificial Intelligence Brings to Life Figures from 7 Famous Paintings: The Mona Lisa, Birth of Venus & More
Denis Shiryaev is an AI wizard who has liberally applied his magic to old film--upscaling, colorizing, and otherwise modernizing scenes from Victorian England, late Tsarist Russia, and Belle Époque Paris. He trained machines to restore the earliest known motion picture, 1888's Roundhay Garden Scene and one of the most mythologized works of early cinema, the Lumière Brothers 50-second Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station. Shiryaev's casual distribution of these efforts on YouTube can make us take for granted just how extraordinary they are. Such recreations would have been impossible just a decade or so ago. But we should not see these as historic restorations.

What will artificial intelligence bring in 2020?
As an expert, I'm often asked: what will this year bring? I don't have a glass ball to look into the future, or an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system for these kinds of predictions, but there are some interesting trends I certainly want to share. I will not discuss the growth figures of AI use cases, or whether those not using AI will limp along behind, or whether the "AI bubble" will burst and a new AI winter will come. Much progress has been made, but not enough to deflect the next hurdle: and that is how to gain knowledge about your business domain with the help of AI. So, what will AI bring us in the near future?
Will Artificial Intelligence Bring An End To The Gender Pay Gap?
The gender pay gap has always been a topic of debate but never has it ever been able to bring the much-required change in the system. Time and again, feminists have raised their voices against such inequalities. Infact, they have been very right in stating that the women are sharing responsibilities equally then why not authority? Besides, many compensation guidelines and policies have also been articulated by the government but little did all of that benefit. Otherwise, the rate at which the global economy is embracing the removal of the gender pay gap can take the next 202 years to hit the equilibrium. In this blog, I will take you through the ways in which AI can be the most practical method to remove the gender pay gap.
How Artificial Intelligence Brings Out the Humanity in CX
Leading economists say that the world is experiencing a technical revolution at a never-before-seen level of complexity. Artificial intelligence (AI) is at the center of this shift and is changing the way that people work, live, and relate to one another. These trends tend to scare people. "When we attempt to use machines to replace the role of humans in our social lives, the response is immediate and negative," writes Steve Woods, CTO and co-founder at NudgeAI for The Globe and Mail. But there's another side to this story, says Woods. "The last islands of human employment won't be based on skills that machines are incapable of; they will be areas where we won't desire AI replacement."
What Does Artificial Intelligence Bring To Business Software?
When one hears the term "artificial intelligence" or AI, the mind goes quickly to robots and talking computers that will one day take over the world. That's great for Hollywood, and there is applicability in manufacturing and other areas of business where intelligent machines or robots can effectively automate what were once manual processes. But when it comes to the business software we use every day at work, the application is slightly less daunting but equally as powerful. As a software salesman for over 30 years, I'm constantly crafting my elevator pitch, which is a statement that describes what my product can do in two minutes or less. The best description for business or ERP (enterprise resource planning) software is that of an application that can efficiently automate manual processes.
Artificial Intelligence Brings Out The Best -- And Worst -- In Email Marketing
The majority of marketers are already dabbling in artificial intelligence, according to Salesforce's annual State of Marketing report, but the field will expand rapidly over the next two years. Artificial intelligence was the top-ranking technology that marketers planned to expand the most over the next two years, with Salesforce estimating that A.I. will grow 53% faster than any other type of technology. Fifty-one percent of respondents expressed some level of familiarity with A.I.-powered digital marketing, while a quarter planned to begin a pilot program within the next two years. The poll of 3,500 marketers, published earlier this year, exemplified marketing technology's embrace of A.I. in 2017. Every marketing cloud vendor now touts some form of machine-learning framework, from Salesforce's Einstein to Adobe's Sensei, to help marketers with more personalized offerings.
