Vans Can (and Should) Go Electric
For far too long, commercial vehicles remained an underserved sector of the electric vehicle market. Despite making up over 23 million vehicles worldwide and 82 percent of vehicle emissions, the sector is still dominated by legacy manufacturers that have struggled to make the shift to electric. In 2023, however, we will see a transformation in the industry as government mandates are implemented and new electric vehicle players start delivering vehicles to customers. This will transform our cities, reducing carbon emissions and having a radical impact on clean air. Over the past 12 months, governments and cities have introduced regulations and incentives to accelerate the shift to zero-emission vehicles.

Artificial Intelligence In Agriculture – Another Place Where Medical Techniques Can Help
As weird as it is to me to know that ranching is part of agriculture, I do find it interesting that the price points on medical technology means that new techniques can move into the industry. Artificial intelligence in medicine has been a big part of its growth. Now AI is also moving to help ranchers to better manage their herds. While much of the focus on AI in the field has been on vision and back-end analysis, the real world has a lot of another sense that matters – sound. In human medicine, of the first and easiest tools to use is the x-ray.

Britain's Tesla hopes for big things from 'microfactories'
The last year has been tricky for electric vehicle startups. After a burst of investment mania in which companies raised billions on the mere promise of battery propulsion, valuations have come back down to earth. One of the loudest thuds has come from Arrival, the closest to what could be called a British electric vehicle champion. Its market value on the Nasdaq has fallen from $15bn (£11.6bn) in March 2021, when it first completed a merger with a listed cash shell, to about $1.75bn. Almost all its startup rivals have suffered similar plunges, but Arrival is arguably a special case.
