Startup simplifies artificial intelligence for small businesses

#artificialintelligence

An Ohio tech startup is helping other small businesses leverage artificial intelligence to their advantage. Cleveland-based Pandata uses digital tools and data scientists to analyze information and establish systems for other small-scale companies. Pandata's team of experts is able to help businesses that don't have the resources to employ their own staff of specialized experts. "Data scientists are expensive, hard to find, don't exist in high concentrations, especially in markets like Cleveland," said Pandata CEO/Founder Cal Al-Dhubaib. "And so, when we can pair these tools with data science experts, we can deliver the same power of the technology that bigger organizations have access to at a fraction of the cost."

6 Steps to Lay the Foundation for AI in Marketing

#artificialintelligence

The prospects of what artificial intelligence (AI) can do for marketing and other business initiatives is well-documented. McKinsey & Company, for instance, reported in a study that AI improved on traditional analytics techniques in 69 percent of potential use cases. The real challenge is how to actually implement AI in your marketing processes and where you begin. Marketers are asking that question over and over, according to William Ammerman, executive VP of Engaged Media. "That's their first question: what do I do now?"

The Art of Artificial Intelligence

The digitally savvy and world-renowned Cleveland Museum of Art has been transforming the way people interact with art through its integration of onsite and virtual technology. And through the last few years, CMA has been collecting massive quantities of data as part of its quest to become a full-fledged data-driven museum. Last September, the museum partnered with Pandata, a Lakewood-based data science company, to distill all the raw bits and bytes of location data to help determine how to ramp up visitor engagement to the next level. A cross-collaborative museum team and Pandata spent the bulk of the last year analyzing, testing and verifying the quality of the data, before launching the first phase of its data toolset project on July 1. "We have our first iteration of data visualizations that will give us a closer look at pathways and time spent in the museum," said Jane Alexander, the museum's chief digital information officer. From cultural institutions and nonprofits, to entities small and large in the for-profit world, artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the way companies and organizations operate.
