June Edition: Probability, Statistics & Machine Learning

I have read many texts and articles on different aspects of probability theory over the years and each seems to require differing levels of prerequisite knowledge to understand what is going on. I am by no means an expert in the field but I felt that I could contribute by writing what I hope to be a series of accessible articles explaining various concepts in probability.
