Public Access - It's Finally Here - Self Aware Robots!

The idea of self aware artificial intelligence has long been the preserve of classic science fiction novels and movies like Terminator, Blade Runner and 2001 A Space Odyssey. Now this sci fi has made a major step forward into becoming reality. New research from New York has shown that robots have finally become self aware. These findings were disclosed in the latest edition of New Scientist. Researchers from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York created three robots that were tested using the'wise men puzzle', a puzzle designed to discover self awareness.
