A recent Lancet editorial entitled'Augmenting diagnostic vision with AI' suggested artificial intelligence had the potential to interpret clinical data more accurately and more rapidly than medical specialists', such as radiologist and dermatologist who analyse hundreds of thousands of images over their career.
