Nvidia's 'G-Assist' AI arrives to optimize your RTX gaming PC

PCWorld

Nvidia is all-in on AI, even for gamers, which really shouldn't be a surprise at this point. In addition to releasing a local language model you can train on your own content, Nvidia's latest goodie for RTX GPU-equipped PCs is Project G-Assist, a game-focused "AI" assistant. Nvidia G-Assist was fist previewed at Computex almost a year ago. According to Nvidia's promotional material, the tool now included in the rebranded Nvidia app can help you monitor game performance, answer hardware- and software-related questions, and even control lighting on some peripherals via ChatGPT-style text or voice interactions. At launch, Nvidia says that the app can control hardware and lighting settings on "supported Logitech G, Corsair, MSI, and Nanoleaf devices."
