GSK to use artificial intelligence for drug search

GlaxoSmithKline has signed a $43 million agreement with Scotland-based Exscientia to use its artificial intelligence technology to lower the costs and times needed to identify drug candidates. Merck, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi are among other firms investigating AI applications for drug research.
