Artificial Intelligence is Probably Safe

Superintelligence is also called "strong AI" and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) among other things. It starts off as a smat process that grows smarter and smarter until it reaches and then exceeds Human Level Machine Intelligence (HLMI). This point is often called the singularity.
