AI (artificial intelligence) should authors and creatives be scared?

It seems like every time I go online, there is a new AI or machine learning capability that is on the edge of threatening creativity as we know it. Or maybe that is just me reading every clickbait title I come across. So instead of believing the hype and the online fear mongering, I decided with this article "AI (artificial intelligence) should authors and creatives be scared?" to look at the current state of AI in the creative space, looking at the tools I currently use, what I can access and what the future may hold. First off, I am no stranger to AI; I have several SAAS AI tools I use on a weekly basis. I believe that AI will help develop the creative spirit and develop many new jobs and academic fields across every category of human endeavour, rather than threaten jobs.
