Machine Learning and Mathematical Optimisation Researcher (KTP Associate) : 365 Response Ltd
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate with the ability and confidence to manage a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project with 365Response. The University of Manchester and 365Response are looking to recruit a Research Associate/Postdoctoral Researcher to undertake this 30 month project which has an overall aim of developing new tools to improve transport flow and resource utilisation across health and care to improve quality of care for service users and efficiency for providers. The position will provide you with a unique opportunity to lead the transfer of knowledge from the University of Manchester through to the health & care industry, the development of novel algorithms that tackle transportation problems in health & care and their implementation in 365Response software platform. You will require a recently-obtained minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and a PhD in a subject related to machine learning and/or mathematical optimisation (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Business Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, etc.), This post is funded through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) award, a UK Government scheme intended to promote sustained and mutually beneficial relationships between universities and industry.
