3 Lesser-Known Domestic Robotics Applications In Smart Cities
Domestic robots have never been more in vogue than now. As per a study, the global sales value of domestic robots is forecasted to grow from US$ 4.3 billion in 2019 to US$ 10 billion in 2023. Despite the increasing usage of robotics in smart cities and homes, not everyone may know about some lesser-known applications. Most homes use domestic robots for cleaning-- which includes vacuum cleaning, laundry management, lawn mowing and window cleaning, among others--entertainment and socializing--social robots, toys--and security--surveillance robots and robotic nannies, among others. By doing so, they are exploiting only a small percentage of ways in which robots can be put to use in smart cities.
