Kayak expanding metasearch coverage areas to include restaurants and tourist attractions

Travel search engine Kayak is officially expanding its coverage areas outside of booking flights and hotels, reports Skift. Beginning in May, users will be able to search for and book reservations for restaurants, tours, and activities in cities around the world. The biggest advantage of this expansion is an increase in user engagement with Kayak's platform. Once users book a flight or hotel reservation, they have no further need to use Kayak.
