My haunting idol short story review

As someone who obsessively looks up celebrities online and reads gossip websites like there's no tomorrow, this short story really hit a nerve. 'My haunting idol' is part of the anthology AI:2041 a collaboration between Kai-fu lee and Chen Qiufan, and I'm reading these stories greedily and slowly, not wanting it to be over. I haven't felt this way about a collection of short stories since Ted chiang's exhalation. This story really has everything I could ask for: science fiction, asian pop, murder mystery. It's as weird and amazing as it sounds and with a twist!
