Today the use of artificial intelligence is in so much of the technology we use every day. Since 2011 investments in artificial intelligence related products has exceeded 2 billion. There has also been progress made with cognitive artificial intelligence such as with IBM Watson. Technology is being created that can think for itself as well as adapt and solve problems by itself, much like how the human brain works. Artificial intelligence tends to have many definitions but can be summed up as technology that can perform tasks which normally require human intelligence.
