The Amazon Echo Show is real and it's got a 7-inch screen

Amazon's newest Echo is here and it's got a screen. As leaked last week, the new Echo Show has 7-inch screen to display visual information and make video calls with other Echo Show owners. Priced at $229.99 and available in white or black, the Echo Show's boxy design is questionable. That said, the screen lets you see information you can't with the Echo or Echo Dot devices. Amazon says you'll be able to watch video flash briefings on YouTube, display music lyrics, photos and videos, see shopping lists, monitor security cameras, and more. In addition to the video-calling feature, the Echo Show's also got a new audio calling feature, which lets you make free calls to anyone with an Echo, an Echo Dot, or the Alexa app on their phone or tablet.
