ADESA introduces Artificial Intelligence for vehicle inspections

ADESA is introducing the UK's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution for vehicle remarketing. The system, called ADESA IVI (short for Intelligent Vehicle Inspection) is intended for inspecting vehicles during the de-fleeting process. The appraisal can be carried out by drivers themselves, using a smartphone or tablet. At a set time before they hand back their company car (or car financed via a PCP or PCH scheme), they are guided through a simple and quick process that includes a pre-defined image capture walkthrough. This removes the need for third-party inspections and thus saves significant amounts of time and money, especially when a vehicle needs repair.
