As we approach 2019, it's the perfect time to reflect on where the marketing industry has been in the past year and where it's headed. In 2018, we saw more organizations relying heavily on AI-driven messaging applications and social media to engage with customers. In fact, 72 percent of millennials believe a phone call is not the best way to resolve their customer services issues. Additionally, experts predict that by 2020, 85 percent of all customer service interactions will be handled without the need for a human agent.
