Last week a chatbot named Tay was introduced to the world. According to Vox, "It took 15 hours for Twitter to teach an artificially intelligent chatbot to be a racist, sexist monster. If you're shocked, you probably don't spend much time on Twitter." Microsoft apologized for what happened to Tay, "We are deeply sorry for the unintended offensive and hurtful tweets from Tay, which do not represent who we are or what we stand for, nor how we designed Tay." I too was concerned about the way robots were going to take over our lives, how they were going to take the exhilaration and joy of driving and ordering fast food away from us.
