Complementary Benefits of Contrastive Learning and Self-Training Under Distribution Shift

In this paper, we investigate the complementary benefits of self-training and contrastive pretraining. Interestingly, we find that the combination yields significant gains in UDA despite producing negligible gains in SSL.
