What Is TensorFlow.js
Machine Learning is one of the fastest growing technologies of the modern era. Use and popularity of programming languages, such as R, Python, Go, Lisp, Java, and Prolog are growing every day due to an increasing need for machine learning and automation. Popular programming languages such as Java, C#, and C can also be used to build AI and machine learning algorithms applications with the support of some libraries. TensorFlow.js has three main use cases: To get started with TensorFlow.js and learn what it is, watch the following video. Here is a detailed video on how to get started with ML using JavaScript and TensorFlow.js.
Alexa can read news briefs in a 'newscaster' voice in the US
Alexa can now modulate its voice beyond whispering in hushed tones. Amazon has introduced a'newscaster' voice in the US that kicks in when Alexa reads the day's news or recites Wikipedia information. It's not going to replace the news anchor for your favorite media outlet, but the speaking style is more authoritative and doesn't sound quite so out-of-place as Alexa's standard voice. The trick, Amazon said, is the use of Neutral Text-To-Speech (NTTS) technology that relies on deep learning to create the speech signal. The AI-based system learns to both intonate more effectively and emphasize the right words in a sentence.
If you share your Netflix password, your time is running out! Mansour KFAN FM 100.3
Do you like to "Netflix and Chill"? Do you pay for your own Netflix account or mooch off of a friend or family member to get access to your favorite shows like Haunting of Hill House, House of Cards, Stranger Things and more? Well, if you fall into the latter category and mooch or share your account with others, your days of living large might be numbered. A company named "Synamedia" is showing off their new proprietary "Credentials Sharing Insight" tool at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. According to the release, the technology "combats the rapid rise in account sharing between friends and families, turning it instead into a new revenue-generating opportunity for operators...It uses AI, machine learning and behavioral analytics to identify, monitor and analyze credentials sharing activity across consumer accounts...It allows operators to turn casual sharing into incremental revenue, as well as detect and apply enforcement procedures on fraudulent, for-profit credentials sharing accounts."

The Network Knows. Let It Help You. TechNative
This German expressionist film was not sophisticated (in fact, science fiction writer H.G. Wells said the movie was downright "silly") but it did have some merit. If nothing else, it started an entire genre of films exploring the freakish possibilities of artificial intelligence. Fast forward ninety-plus years, and we're living in a world where intelligent systems are more than a sci-fi fantasy โ they are becoming a necessity. In the technology trifecta of hyperconverged compute, storage, and networking, intelligence across the IT environment represents a critical next phase of networking. That line of discussion, as well as my affinity for AI movies, got me thinking about the accelerated pace of change in automation technology, and how the role of networking has changed, particularly in regards to network awareness.
This Short Film Imagines the Terrifying, AI-Fueled Future of Work
As artificial intelligence becomes integrated into more technology in our homes and workplaces, concerns about its ethical implications are growing. It seems like every day there are new tools designed to help workers use their time more efficiently with machine learning. If these trends continue, what will the workplaces of the future look like? What if it goes wrong? Keiichi Matsuda's new short film Merger taps into that uncertainty by imagining a workplace where humans have been proven to be less capable than AI.
Hyped to Death: AI Must Avoid Becoming a Clichรฉ - Ciena
Artificial intelligence (AI) is in vogue. It's almost impossible to read an article in any media outlet that doesn't mention AI and the possibility it will reshape the world in which we live. In fact, according to research conducted by AT&T, AI has the potential to double GDP growth across geographies by 2035. Consumers are already interacting with a variety of low-level AI assistants, such as Siri, Cortana, and Alexa. With respect to the telecom sector, AI โ supported by machine learning (ML) โ is fundamental to controlling and operating communications networks of the future.
AI Being Used To Bust Those Netflix Account Moochers
Netflix moochers beware, you may have to start paying for your own account. At a technology event in Las Vegas, a software firm Synamedia unveiled their Orwellian AI system which has been created to track down any account that has been sharing login information with another. The software works by analyzing geolocation data to determine which accounts are logged in at any one time and from where. By doing so they can see who is sharing their credentials and where. It can even decipher your location type like your home, work or if you are accessing from a hotel or vacation location.
Trump speech 'DeepFake' shows a present AI threat
A so-called'DeepFake' video of a Trump speech was broadcast on a Fox-owned Seattle TV network, showing a very present AI threat. The station, Q13, broadcasted a doctored Trump speech in which he somehow appeared even more orange and pulled amusing faces. Following the broadcast, a Q13 employee was sacked. It's unclear if the worker created the clip or whether it was just allowed to air. The video could be the first DeepFake to be televised, but it won't be the last.
