WorkFusion Named a Leader in Gartner's 2020 Magic Quadrant for RPA
WorkFusion, a top provider of Intelligent Automation technology, announced it has been placed by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of the 2020 "Magic Quadrant for Robotic Process Automation."1 Gartner recognized WorkFusion based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute. "We believe Gartner's recognition of WorkFusion in the Leaders quadrant validates our customer-first approach -- with pre-built automation solutions designed to lower costs dramatically, and in record time, for areas with higher levels of document-related manual and cognitive work across some of the most critical processes in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare and other sectors, " said WorkFusion CEO Alex Lyashok. "The right automation approach is to be able to deliver meaningful and measurable benefits to businesses in weeks or months, not years, and without disrupting core infrastructure or systems. As an example, for organizations in regulated-service industries such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), the WorkFusion Intelligent Automation Cloud platform can quickly and easily manage document-heavy processes -- and in some cases can cut costs by 50% within 3 months," Lyashok said.

WorkFusion adds $50 million from strategic investors as it bulks up for acquisitions
WorkFusion, a business process automation software developer, has raised $50 million in a new, strategic round of funding as it prepares to start adding new verticals to its product suite. The company's new cash came from the large insurance company, Guardian; health care services provider New York-Presbyterian, and the commercial bank, PNC Bank. Venture investor Alpha Intelligence Capital, which specializes in backing artificial intelligence-enabled companies also participated in the new financing. Certainly WorkFusion seems to have come a long way since its days hiring crowdsourced workers to train algorithms how to automate the workflows that used to be done manually. The company has raised a lot of money -- roughly $121 million, according to Crunchbase -- which is some kind of validation, and in its core markets of financial services and insurance it's attracted some real fans.
Three Ways In Which AI Might Change Business And Industry Bit Rebels
Successful business and industry leaders have always known that innovation is a key to success. The world of business has always been shifting and transforming, and entrepreneurs who get stuck in routine and tradition are often left in the dust when they cannot adapt to the new challenges and changing consumer demands. The introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the world of business and industry, along with the growing importance of e-commerce to our economy, means that the rate of innovation will only continue to increase. Below, we look at three ways in which artificial intelligence technologies, solutions, and software will dramatically change how business is done. As more and more commerce shifts from brick and mortar businesses to online platforms, artificial intelligence solutions will pave the way for companies who are flexible enough to take advantage of these new marketing and business opportunities.

AI And Chatbots Are Transforming The Customer Experience
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is dramatically changing business, and chatbots, fueled by AI, are becoming a viable customer service channel. The best ones deliver a customer experience (CX) in which customers cannot tell if they are communicating with a human or a computer. AI has come a long way in recognizing the content – and context – of customers' requests and questions. Typically, customer service chatbots answer questions based on key words. The most basic systems are actually document retrieval systems.

AI, a rapidly growing reality
All sorts of people gathered to attend the #AIEurope conference in London past week. We also encountered more discrete forms of AI specialized in the high speed processing of masses of unstructured data. AI, eagerly awaited by some and much criticized by others, is finally a reality. Whatever the intended use, "the role of AI is to learn from data how to help people do their job," says Adam Devine, VP and head of marketing at Workfusion (intelligent process automation solutions). And its development requires similar ingredients.
