Bizarre sex toy uses ChatGPT to narrate sexual fantasies - and it even vibrates in time

Daily Mail - Science & tech

From a Furby to the'world's most advanced' humanoid robot, ChatGPT has already been hooked up to a range of bizarre things. But the latest use for the AI chatbot is arguably the strangest yet, as Lovense has announced that it has integrated ChatGPT in a sex toy, dubbed the ChatGPT Pleasure Companion. Users can divulge their sexual fantasies to the sex toy, before it uses ChatGPT to write a story. 'The higher the intensity of the story, the stronger and faster the toy's reaction will be,' Lovense explained. The system is currently in beta, and has been described as a way to'explore your sexuality and boundaries completely independently.'

Deep Learning Makes Better VR Experiences

#artificialintelligence

This post is about deep learning applications for creating better virtual reality experiences. So, let's begin with introduction. Deep learning models are being used in several ways to improve the quality and interactivity of virtual reality experiences. Image Generation: Deep learning models, such as generative adversarial networks (GANs) or variational autoencoders (VAEs), can be used to generate realistic and high-quality images and textures for virtual environments. These models can learn to generate images that match the visual characteristics of real-world environments or objects, and create more immersive and engaging VR experiences.

How AI might affect vacations in the future โ€ข Ayoka - Made in USA Enterprise Application Services

#artificialintelligence

Vacations are a time for relaxation, exploration, and adventure. But what if artificial intelligence (AI) could take the planning and execution of vacations to the next level? AI technology is becoming more and more advanced, and it could revolutionize the way we plan and experience our vacations. AI could make vacations easier and more enjoyable, from helping to plan travel and accommodation to providing personalized recommendations for restaurants, activities, and attractions. It could even be used to create custom itineraries and provide virtual tours of destinations. AI could make vacations smarter, faster, and more personal, opening up new possibilities for travel and exploration.

Using AI to create better virtual reality experiences

Virtual and augmented reality headsets are designed to place wearers directly into other environments, worlds and experiences. While the technology is already popular among consumers for its immersive quality, there could be a future where the holographic displays look even more like real life. In their own pursuit of these better displays, the Stanford Computational Imaging Lab has combined their expertise in optics and artificial intelligence. Their most recent advances in this area are detailed in a paper published Nov. 12 in Science Advances and work that will be presented at SIGGRAPH ASIA 2021 in December. At its core, this research confronts the fact that current augmented and virtual reality displays only show 2D images to each of the viewer's eyes, instead of 3D โ€“ or holographic โ€“ images like we see in the real world.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning spawn new jobs in eCommerce

#artificialintelligence

By Avik Chanda In 2013, as a fresh B. Tech graduate, Shranik Jain lived and breathed only technology โ€“ his chief interests at that time were all centred around the intricacies of Intel's 3D Tri Gate Transistor. But six years on, his work as a Product Manager for IndiaMART InterMESH Limited has taken him to an area that traditionally wouldn't have been in the remit of his job description. "Over the years, significant changes have taken place in the product management role," explains Shranik. "We are now focusing majorly on User Experience Design. The primary emphasis is on customer empathy, while leveraging techniques like machine learning, thereby assisting us in better decision making."

The FORGING - A Virtual Reality Rehabilitative Experience

#artificialintelligence

Through your generous and timely donations we will be able to gather the appropriate funds to cover all production costs as we shoot the live-action components of the PoC (Proof of Concept), shot in Virtual Reality, the voice-over that will accompany these scenes, and completion and post-production (VFX, stitching, sound design, and the like), funds that will allow us to present a fully cohesive and compelling narrative Proof of Concept for The FORGING. The FORGING experience will serve as a cost-effective, fully-engaging, fully-immersive, hyper-real Virtual Reality experience and therapeutic tool that greatly assists in the rehabilitation of our HEROES returning home from the battlefield; be those battlefields abroad, or those closer to home in our local communities. The FORGING will assist those WARRIORS and HEROES who may be dealing with symptoms associated with Post-Traumatic Stress, live a happier, purpose-driven, more connected and fulfilling life-experience. Inspired and driven by a shared and extremely vital mission; the ultimate intention of The FORGING experience is to distract the brain and body's corresponding nervous systems from trauma, chaos, pain, crisis, and negative memories (collectively known as Post Traumatic Stress Injury โ€“ PTSI), shifting the neurology of these emotions, stress events and triggers so that our Nation's HEORES can reconnect to their community (and more importantly, their communities learning how to reconnect with them) feeling a vast improvement and more consistent and mindful connection to their innate resilience, coherence, self-awareness, freedom, and fulfillment. "The FORGING" offers a well-constructed, mindfully-heart-based tool to help heal the scars left by Post Traumatic Stress.

Uber's AI system could soon be able to identify if you're drunk

Daily Mail - Science & tech

Many of us are guilty of jumping into an Uber after having one too many drinks. But that could soon be about to change. According to a new patent application, Uber is working on a way to let its drivers know exactly how drunk passengers are before they pick them up. The AI system identifies a user's level of intoxication based on how they're holding their phone. It also looks at how many times they tap on the Uber app, exactly where they tap, their walking speed and how long it takes for them to request a ride.

How virtual reality and artificial intelligence are changing life experiences

#artificialintelligence

It might be considered a platitude, but people are always looking for new ways to break away from the monotonous beat of everyday normalcy โ€“ either temporarily or permanently. According to a 2013 report on drug abuse by the United States government, 9.4 percent (around 24.6 million people) of individuals age 12 or old noted that they had recreationally used a drug within the past month. This tendency to seek life-changing experiences is true whether it concerns things like the countercultural movements of the 1970s โ€“ which infamously involved controversial music and use of illicit drugs โ€“ or the technological experiences today. Most people are fascinated with those experiences that allow them to escape crushing boredom and constancy of regular life. That's why the prospect of virtual realities and the possibilities of automation afforded by artificial intelligence are so exciting. Here are some of the biggest changes related to these two fields that are quickly arriving with the technological advents of modern society.
