Artificial intelligence is a complicated matter, and a solid ecosystem is the foundation of successful development. In creating an AI system, my team worked to determine what the "right" ecosystem for AI looks like. For our system to continuously become smarter, we knew an ecosystem made up of technology, data, industry-specific knowledge, research, and security would be necessary. Without each of these key ingredients, even a human wouldn't be able to execute what we ask of AI, meaning the ecosystem plays a vital role in such an initiative's success. In order to determine the best environment for artificial intelligence, it's important to first acknowledge the challenges AI faces.

We met him to hear how his team thinks about the future, and where RPA and AI fit into their roadmap. Wipro is well known for providing technology and outsourcing services. From distant origins in Mumbai in the 1940s, Wipro has grown into a worldwide technology and outsourcing company with over 40 billion in revenue. But it might come as a surprise to many that Wipro filed over 500 patents last year. This is because, like many global service businesses, Wipro is being pushed to help clients innovate: do new things, with new tools and technologies.

Bengaluru: Wipro Ltd expects its artificial intelligence platform Holmes to offset the pricing decline in commoditized outsourcing contracts, a development that could help India's third-largest software services firm arrest falling profitability in the current financial year. "We are currently deploying Holmes very aggressively," K.R. Sanjiv, the chief technology officer at Wipro, said in an interview. "Overall profitability is a function of many things, the pricing, how we structure the contracts. But certainly hyper automation should result in a beneficial impact and you can see the first meaningful impact by the end of March 2017." The comments should bring some relief to Wipro investors.

AI, it has already started changing what businesses can do. From self-driving cars to intuitive automatic vacuum cleaners to self-propelled lawn mowers that know the difference between overgrown grass and carefully maintained flower gardens, tasks that once took up so much of your time will soon become the responsibilities of intelligent tools. Not only will your home life change, but also the businesses that provide services soon are to be replaced (or drastically altered) by artificial intelligence. Landscaping, industrial cleaning, marketing and everything in between will soon have to find a way to coexist with the newest wave of technology. Until these machines become reality, however, AI is limited to its ability to corral and interrupt massive swatches of data.
