'Fortnite': How young is too young to play?
USA TODAY consumer editor Michelle Maltais and Common Sense Media executive editor Sierra Filucci share ways to manage your household's attachment to media and electronic devices. How young is too young to let your kid play "Fortnite"? It's a question parents have been asking of themselves and their friends. Assuming they're cool in the first place with letting their kid participate in a third-person shooter game that's played by more than 200 million people globally, not all of them, of course, of school age. You certainly can't blame those parents who deem "Fornite" a menace.

From Echo to Ring doorbell and Fire TV, are you comfortable Amazon with controlling your smart home?
A link has been posted to your Facebook feed. Amazon acquired another startup this week, the maker of the beloved tech product Eero, a mesh router that improves dead Wi-Fi spots in the home. To that, you might have said, OK, so? But, more importantly, it's an indication of how Amazon wants to go further than just making our homes "smart." It wants to turn our dwellings into the "Amazon Home."

Ten things you probably don't know about the Nintendo Switch video game console
The Nintendo Switch game console. If you're reading, chances are you already own the Nintendo Switch ($299) or are thinking of picking one up. As you likely know, Nintendo Switch is a unique hybrid console that's both a portable gaming system, like a Nintendo 3DS, as well as a home console, which snaps into a docking station (included) to connect to your television. There are several exclusive games for the platform -- including best-sellers like "Super Mario Odyssey," "Diablo 3: Eternal Collection," "Mario Rabbids: Kingdom Battle," and "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" – which you can buy in cartridge form or download digitally from the Nintendo eShop online store. Underneath the console's kickstand on the back, you can snap in a microSD memory card to store more downloaded content, should the 32GB of internal storage not be enough for you.

I also love shopping, especially when I find a bargain price on something that's actually awesome. Just as in love, if a sale sounds too good to be true, there's probably a catch. Maybe something looks very pretty but then you find out it's not that good at anything.
