Epic Games, the developer of the hugely successful video game Fortnite, has revealed it's raised $144 million (£109.5 million) for Ukraine. In conjunction with Microsoft's Xbox, the firm had pledged to donate all of its proceeds from the game to Ukraine relief efforts for two weeks, starting March 20. The total will fund humanitarian relief efforts led by several charities to help Ukrainian people affected by the ongoing war with Russia, Epic Games said. These charities include UNICEF, Direct Relief, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Food Programme. Three seasons down the line, the fledgling Drone Racing League (DRL) is still not a household name. But it continues to draw major broadcasters and is now set to make its debut on social media. For its upcoming world championship season, the DRL is making the switch from ESPN to the home of NASCAR: NBC and NBC Sports. For the first time, viewers will also be able to tune in on Twitter via the official @DroneRaceLeague account. For the uninitiated, the races consists of minute-long heats that see pilots -- with monikers, like "Jet" and "ShaggyFPV," that wouldn't look out of place in an eSports tournament -- flying custom-built drones through neon-lit shapes on winding tracks at speeds over 90 miles per hour.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the way we shop, surf social media and interact with our favorite brands. Gartner predicts that by 2020, 85 percent of our interactions will not be with humans, all thanks to AI. Accenture forecasts that AI technology will lead to 1.8 million job losses, yet that same study predicts AI technology will generate 2.3 million jobs because of the new skill sets necessitated by AI technologies. Another positive finding from the study shows that AI technology will increase business output 6.5 times. In other words, AI is going to shift things around -- a lot. Humans may no longer be at the forefront of customer interactions, and marketing calls may be based more on hard data rather than individual ideas discussed over a conference call.
