Magnet: We Never Know How Text-to-Image Diffusion Models Work, Until We Learn How Vision-Language Models Function

Neural Information Processing Systems

Text-to-image diffusion models particularly Stable Diffusion, have revolutionized the field of computer vision. However, the synthesis quality often deteriorates when asked to generate images that faithfully represent complex prompts involving multiple attributes and objects. While previous studies suggest that blended text embeddings lead to improper attribute binding, few have explored this in depth. In this work, we critically examine the limitations of the CLIP text encoder in understanding attributes and investigate how this affects diffusion models. We discern a phenomenon of attribute bias in the text space and highlight a contextual issue in padding embeddings that entangle different concepts.

Never seen before - Spxbot Blog

In the rising market, you are continuously convinced that a crash is imminent and this is the fuel that makes the market grow, having a lot of people on the wrong side. We are watching it in the latest months, whenever the downturn seems inevitable, the market turns up blindly, no way. If I should rely on my own analysis, I would be a net looser. Luckily, the model seems working nicely, even if with some indecisions. In latest days it has flipped from long position to alerts of an imminent turn, but it has never lost the positive attitude, it was just moving on the edge, and you have to consider that the market is in a never seen before territory. This confirms the ability of the Artificial Intelligence models to manage never seen before events, sometimes better and sometimes with a bit of indecision, but always keeping the correct orientation and pointing towards profit, in our case.

AI Model Optimization Has Never Been Easier

As the popular cliché has it, data scientists spend 80% of their time preparing the data, and only 20% developing the models.

Listen to an AI sing an uncannily human rendition of 'Jolene'

#artificialintelligence

AI-powered image generators have been getting most of the press recently. But musical machine learning models have quietly been making great strides in recent years. Holly Herndon has been at the forefront of that revolution. She co-developed (along with partner Mat Dryhurst) Spawn, a singing neural network, for her last album Proto and released Holly (in partnership with Never Before Heard Sounds) to the public last year, which allows anyone to use a model of Holly's voice. Now she's released a new single, where the only vocals come her digital twin.

Never say die

MIT Technology Review

This is mostly pretty cool. Beats the alternative, as they say. But one decidedly uncool thing about being almost 50 is that my "bad" LDL cholesterol is too high. The obvious solution here is to improve my diet and get more exercise. But if that were so easy, no one would have high cholesterol, right?

VICUNA Metaverse, Digital-Life Experience Like Never Before

#artificialintelligence

OSTD is a UAE-based licensed technology company that has launched a multidimensional project, VICUNA, which will bring real-life experiences in e-commerce. The project has been introduced with a vision to solve prevalent issues of e-commerce platforms to enable a better experience. Scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2022, the VICUNA ecosystem offers users VINA FitNet, which uses modern technology to allow online buyers to try a product on their virtual selves before buying it and earn by any action related to perfume/fashion industry. The VR with smell further enhances the shopping experience. The platform features buyers, sellers, and reviewers who will have the opportunity to earn through their participation in multiple activities happening on the VICUNA FitNet.

Why You've Never Heard Of This Top AI Company

#artificialintelligence

Artificial intelligence is very prevalent in movies and science fiction, from sentient beings that are able to walk, and talk, and live with humans like the characters from Westworld, Star Wars, or Star Trek. In reality, however, we are a far way away from the dream of sentient machines that we see and read about in science fiction. So much of today's AI systems are doing much more mundane things that aren't getting the attention or interest of the press and media. However, interest and investment in AI remains strong, and even if AI is unable to live up to the fantasies of science fiction, vendors are riding the hype wave of AI and promising capabilities that AI systems might not be able to deliver. While vendors are doing their best to deliver these capabilities, the challenge is that adopters and end users sometimes themselves get caught up in the hype as well.

Keras Hyperparameter Tuning Has Never Been That Easy: When AI Facilitates Building Another AI - DataScienceCentral.com

#artificialintelligence

Hyperparameter tuning is considered time-consuming and computationally expensive as it requires testing numerous combinations before attaining the optimum values. Using the available tuning libraries do not solve these issues as many of them randomly investigate the solution space while others are built for general use without adequately understand the hidden features in deep learning optimization.… Read More »Keras Hyperparameter Tuning Has Never Been That Easy: When AI Facilitates Building Another AI

Never heard of Google Collections? It makes sharing links, images and plans a snap
