From 2022, IIT Delhi will offer an MTech in Machine Intelligence and Data Science.
As of next year, IIT Delhi will offer a new postgraduate studies in artificial intelligence. Students getting a bachelor's degree in science or engineering will be able to participate in the programme. According to authorities, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi would begin a new postgraduate studies focusing on machine learning after this year. "IIT Delhi's School of Artificial Intelligence (ScAI) will launch a new postgraduate advanced machine learning programme. The proposed course titled "M Tech in Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MINDS)" has been accepted by the IIT Delhi Council, the academic body responsible for all important educational matters, according to a senior official at the institution. MTech in MINDS will be the school's main program for students, with classes starting in July 2022. This will be the dept's second degree programme. The institution had previously begun a PhD programme in Artificial Intelligence. "In its initial year, our PhD programme drew a lot of attention.
MTech at IIIT-Delhi to Have Specialization in Machine Learning, Cyber Physical System
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has introduced two new specializations – machine learning and cyber-physical systems – for the students seeking admission in the MTech (ECE) department. Newly launched MTech (ECE) programme on cyber-physical systems (CPS) at IIIT-Delhi aims to train and equip students with industry-ready skillset on wireless networks and control systems. Upon completion of the programme, student will be able to join the industrial workforce and contribute to the wireless industry, IIIT Delhi said. The MTech (ECE) program on Machine Learning (ML) seeks to equip students with the foundations of Machine Learning and signal processing theory and methods. The coursework is based on foundational and cutting-edge methods in these areas and is taught by faculty conducting pioneering research in the field.
AI4EU: a project bringing together a European AI community - I'MTech
Anne-Sophie Taillandier: To create a platform bringing together the Artificial Intelligence (AI) community and embodying European values: sovereignty, trust, responsibility, transparency, explainability… AI4EU seeks to make AI resources, such as data repositories, algorithms and computing power, available for all users in every sector of society and the economy. This includes everyone from citizens interested in the subject, SMEs seeking to integrate AI components, start-ups, to large groups and researchers--all with the goal of boosting innovation, reinforcing European excellence and strengthening Europe's leading position in the key areas of artificial intelligence research and applications. AST: It primarily plays a federating role. AI4EU, with 79 members in 21 EU countries, will provide a unique entry point for connecting with existing initiatives and accessing various competences and expertise pooled together in a common base. It will also play a watchdog role and will provide the European Commission with the key elements it needs to orient its AI strategy.

Artificial Intelligence: the complex question of ethics - I'MTech
In the frantic race for artificial intelligence, driven by GAFA[1], with its increasingly efficient algorithms and ever-faster automated decisions, engineering is king, supporting this highly-prized form of innovation. So, does philosophy still have a role to play in this technological world that places progress at the heart of every objective? Armen Khatchatourov, a researcher in philosophy at Télécom École de Management, describes his own approach as acting as "an observer who needs to keep his distance from the general hype over anything new". Over the past several years he has worked on human-computer interactions and the issues of artificial intelligence (AI), examining the potentially negative effects of automation. In particular, he analyses the problematic issues arising from legal frameworks established to govern AI. His particular focus is on "ethics by design".
