A customer is the most crucial for any business enterprise. Today, with the evolution of the digital economy, a number of things have changed for the end customer – from buying grocery online to availing loans. Realising there were processes that can be automated to a great extent to enhance the customer experience, IITian couple Manish Gupta and Rashi Gupta started Rezo.ai in 2017. The Noida-based startup uses machine learning and NLP to automate enterprise workflows with limited human intervention. It also enables automatic conversational responses to customers.

Patterson: Help us understand, Manish, 5G we hear a lot of hype about. Vyas: The reality is that it does promise us to transform. You very rightly use the word digital, but my translation of digital is it promises to change the way people would live, work, and play going forward in a more significant fashion than what you saw with the previous generations. If I could just expand on that a bit, 5G is not just about the throughput and the speed and the power and the latencies, but 5G is about exciting, exciting propositions that will come our way both in the enterprise space and in the consumer domain.


AI Focussed Early Stage Fund Pi Ventures Gets Backing From Accel; Plans To Fund 18--20 Startups A Year - Inc42 Media

Early-stage venture fund, pi Ventures has secured an undisclosed amount of investment from venture capital fund Accel Partners. The World Bank's financial arm, International Finance Corporation (IFC) has also proposed to make an equity investment of $3 Mn in the fund. This investment would be made through the IFC Startup Catalyst (ISC) programme. Commenting on the development, Manish Singhal, Founding Partner, pi Ventures said, "Accel has played a key role as they have been good mentors and go to guys for us. We are working on some investments along with them as well. So, it is good to get them on board as investors in the fund. Also, we are excited that IFC is considering us. The process is still on."
