Innersloth is spending all its Among Us money on indie games

Engadget

The massive success of Among Us changed the lives of the developers at Innersloth. Now, the team is paying that forward by helping to fund a bunch of other indie games under its new label Outersloth (perfect name, zero notes). Among the projects that Outersloth has backed so far are Mars First Logistics (a Mars rover building sim that went into early access last year), card battler RPG Battle Suit Aces, exploration game Mossfield Archives, single-button boss rush title One Btn Bosses and space dog fighting roguelike Rogue Eclipse. Strange Scaffold (An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs) and Visai Games (the fantastic Venba) are getting a hand from Outersloth too. Outersloth is also funding the next project from Outerloop Games, the team behind the acclaimed Thirsty Suitors.

Fortnite meets Among Us? New Impostors mode rolling out

USATODAY - Tech Top Stories

Fortnite's latest mode is taking a page from the popular social game Among Us. Epic Games announced Fortnite Impostors, out now, which plays just like Among Us, where a group of players must thwart enemies posing as teammates. Each team of 10 players will need to complete a series of assignments, while players working as Impostors will sabotage all their work. And just like Among Us, Impostors Modes features the option to call all players together to vote for who might be an Impostor. Although the mode plays very similarly to Among Us, it's not a direct collaboration with its creators at Innersloth.

Among Us: the video game that has shot 100 million players into outer space

The Guardian

If "sus" and "vent" mean nothing to you, then you've somehow missed out on the smash-hit multiplayer game Among Us. But with numbers playing the online game heading towards 100 million, maybe you'll find out before Christmas how good you are at being an "impostor" . For the uninitiated, Among Us is the sleeper game hit of 2020. The premise is simple: it's Cluedo or Wink Murder on a spaceship with four to 10 players of crewmates and impostors. The crewmates perform simple tasks for take-off, while impostors sabotage operations and kill other players.
