DGSolver: Diffusion Generalist Solver with Universal Posterior Sampling for Image Restoration
Diffusion models have achieved remarkable progress in universal image restoration. However, existing methods perform naive inference in the reverse process, which leads to cumulative errors under limited sampling steps and large step intervals. Moreover, they struggle to balance the commonality of degradation representations with restoration quality, often depending on complex compensation mechanisms that enhance fidelity at the expense of efficiency. To address these challenges, we introduce DGSolver, a diffusion generalist solver with universal posterior sampling. We first derive the exact ordinary differential equations for generalist diffusion models to unify degradation representations and design tailored high-order solvers with a queue-based accelerated sampling strategy to improve both accuracy and efficiency. We then integrate universal posterior sampling to better approximate manifold-constrained gradients, yielding a more accurate noise estimation and correcting errors in inverse inference. Extensive experiments demonstrate that DGSolver outperforms state-of-the-art methods in restoration accuracy, stability, and scalability, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
A General Framework for Debiasing in CTR Prediction

Most of the existing methods for debaising in click-through rate (CTR) prediction depend on an oversimplified assumption, i.e., the click probability is the product of observation probability and relevance probability. However, since there is a complicated interplay between these two probabilities, these methods cannot be applied to other scenarios, e.g. query auto completion (QAC) and route recommendation. We propose a general debiasing framework without simplifying the relationships between variables, which can handle all scenarios in CTR prediction. Simulation experiments show that: under the simplest scenario, our method maintains a similar AUC with the state-of-the-art methods; in other scenarios, our method achieves considerable improvements compared with existing methods. Meanwhile, in online experiments, the framework also gains significant improvements consistently.
Recover Missing Sensor Data with Iterative Imputing Network
Sensor data has been playing an important role in machine learning tasks, complementary to the human-annotated data that is usually rather costly. However, due to systematic or accidental mis-operations, sensor data comes very often with a variety of missing values, resulting in considerable difficulties in the follow-up analysis and visualization. Previous work imputes the missing values by interpolating in the observational feature space, without consulting any latent (hidden) dynamics. In contrast, our model captures the latent complex temporal dynamics by summarizing each observation's context with a novel Iterative Imputing Network, thus significantly outperforms previous work on the benchmark Beijing air quality and meteorological dataset. Our model also yields consistent superiority over other methods in cases of different missing rates.
