This year's International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) took place in Vienna, Austria from 21-27 July 2024. The organisers introduced a new feature, in the form of "behind the scenes" chats with members of the conference committee. Hosted by Amin Karbasi, this series takes a look at how decisions are made at ICML, and other interesting AI-related topics. One day two, Amin spoke to co-workshop chair Andrew Gordon Wilson.
