As more swatting incidents are reported, two former law enforcement officers warn about artificial intelligence's negative impact on combatting false threats. A famous "Grand Theft Auto" actor was swatted during a Thanksgiving livestream. Ned Luke, the voice actor of main character Michael De Santa in "GTA 5," was swatted during a YouTube livestream of himself playing the violent video game for fans on Nov. 23. The actor took a phone call apparently warning him before he abruptly ended his stream. "I gotta go," Luke, who has over 60,000 YouTube subscribers, said during the livestream.

Now, scientists from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences have revealed the key characteristics of a**holes – and say middle-aged men are most likely to have them. The core traits include manipulation, aggression, and entitlement, as well as irresponsibility and anger. The'Big Five' personality traits are: Openness - People who are generally open have a higher degree of intellectual curiosity and creativity. They are also more unpredictable and likely to be involved in risky behaviour such as drug taking.

According to an unsubstantiated report by equity research firm Baird, citing no evidence, the blame falls on the open-source server framework, Apache Struts. Could the root cause of the hack be a Struts security hole? If that's the case, is it the fault of Struts developers or Equifax's developers, system admins, and their management? The Apache Struts Project Management Committee said in a statement that while they're sorry Equifax "suffered from a security breach," they're not ready to take on the burden for this all-time security fiasco.
