I'm already dreading Apple's camera-equipped AirPods
Well, it seems like those-rumored AirPods with cameras are close to being real, according to the latest report from Mark Gurman . The new earbuds are said to use low-resolution cameras on their stalks to capture low-resolution imagery, which will ultimately be fed to Apple's long-delayed AI Siri assistant. And the more I hear about them, the more they sound like Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses, just without the ability to take clear photos and videos. The camera-equipped Airpods are reportedly in Apple's design validation testing (DVT) stage, where workers are using prototypes to test their capabilities. There's no word on when we may actually see them, but according to Gurman they were initially slated to debut as early as the first half of 2026, only to be pushed back by AI Siri delays.

Apple is working on a bizarre CURVED iPhone design to mark 20 years since its first ever handset, report claims
Although their specs and features are updated every year, Apple's iPhones maintain the same general size and shape. But according to a new report, the tech giant is preparing a radical new form factor for one of its upcoming handsets. Apple tipster Mark Gurman claims the trillion-dollar tech company is working on a'mostly glass, curved iPhone'. The device will come'without any cutouts in the display', he claims, such as a notch at the top or a small circle for a front-facing camera. It will hit the shelves in a couple of years to mark 20 years since the very first iPhone went on sale – June 29, 2007.

Apple's rumored smart home hub has reportedly been delayed
It may be a while still before we see the smart home hub Apple is rumored to be working on. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company has postponed the announcement of the upcoming product due to the issues it's run into developing its "smarter" Siri. Gurman reported last month that the release of Apple's upgraded Siri may be delayed, and Apple confirmed as much in a statement to Daring Fireball last week, saying it expects to roll out Siri's more personalized features "in the coming year." The smart home hub, according to Gurman, "to an extent, relies on the delayed Siri capabilities." Gurman previously reported that the first version of the smart home display could be revealed as soon as March.

Vision Pro will reportedly get Apple Intelligence as soon as April
Apple Vision Pro may soon get an update bringing Apple Intelligence to the headset, according to a new report from Bloomberg. The first Apple Intelligence features started rolling out to iPhone, iPad and Mac in the fall, bringing features like notification summaries, ChatGPT integration for Siri and Genmoji over the last few months. But Apple's AI hasn't yet made it to the Vision Pro. According to Mark Gurman, that may change with the visionOS 2.4 update, which sources said may arrive in April with Apple Intelligence and a new app for viewing spatial media like 3D images and panoramas. The first Apple Intelligence features to come to Vision Pro will reportedly include Writing Tools, Genmoji and Image Playground.

Apple may tap into a beloved retro design for its smart home display
Apple's rumored smart home display may look a lot like an old friend -- the iMac G4 of the early 2000s. In the Power On newsletter this weekend, Mark Gurman reports that the countertop tablet will feature a square screen that's "positioned at an angle on a small base, making it reminiscent of the circular bottom of the iMac G4." That may be where the speakers are housed too. The device is expected to arrive sometime next year, followed later on by a higher-end version with a robotic limb that can change the position of the display. The more affordable model, which will be released first, will have a relatively small screen, according to Gurman, being "about the size of two iPhones side by side."
