Check out what's clicking on Foxnews.com A California woman has been arrested after going on a first date with a man who arranged to meet her through an online dating app and was later allegedly robbed at gunpoint by two of her male associates, according to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office. Shalena Lopez, 31, and one of the men, Mario Gaona, 39, were arrested Thursday, the sheriff's office said in a news release Friday. The second man, Cesar Domingo Jr., 27, was being sought, according to the sheriff's office.

Nearly a decade ago a 47-year-old black woman named Denise Green was pulled from her vehicle and held at gunpoint by six San Francisco police officers. One of them pointed a shotgun at her face, another handcuffed her and directed her to kneel. Despite having a history of knee problems, Green complied with every order given. Twenty minutes later she was released, free to go about her life. The police initially suspected Green of driving a stolen vehicle when a machine learning algorithm designed to scan license plates misidentified hers, and incorrectly flagged her car as stolen. Needless to say, AI isn't perfect.

Police say a 21-year-old Taborice Lee Foster lured his target using Grindr, a dating app for gay men. When the victim arrived to his home in Panama City, Foster and another man attacked him, pointing a gun from behind while searching the date's pockets and stealing his wallet.

Global competition to be the country with the most sophisticated AI will be the cause of the next world war, Musk predicts. His comment was responding to a story about Russian president Vladimir Putin predicting the country winning in artificial intelligence "will be the ruler of the world." Musk posted the warning with a photo of a poster that read "in the end, the machines will win." "I have exposure to the most cutting edge AI, and I think people should be really concerned by it," Musk said at the National Governors Association. "AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization in a way that car accidents, airplane crashes, faulty drugs or bad food were not -- they were harmful to a set of individuals within society, of course, but they were not harmful to society as a whole." According to Musk, an essential part of the solution is proactive and immediate regulatory oversight.
